They say beauty is skin deep, so let’s get gorgeous and get deeper! This year we are going to explore the wonderful world of your skeleton! Learn how to create a skull, neck, front torso and hands out of grease and liquid makeup, quick and dirty and haunt ready! Then we will create a quick skinned face, for those of you who like muscles. And the last leg of our trip….. some tips and tricks on how to effectively apply makeup to darker skin, and how to change your expression with a few strokes of the brush! “Killer” Katie Johnston has been teaching haunted house makeup up for 10 yrs, and is excited to, again, be a part of MHC! She is currently the Lead Make Up Artist and Cast Manager for Forsaken Haunted House in Mentor Oh. Along with Evilusions, she has two How-To Makeup DVD’s, and has more in the works. Katie loves all aspects of the haunted house industry, and especially enjoys teaching what she knows! She’s a firm believer in having fun, because if it isn’t fun, why bother?!?
