MHC2014 Registration Is Open!

The 2014 Midwest Haunters Convention is shaping up to be the biggest and best it’s ever been! Everybody involved has been working diligently around the clock over the last few weeks to solidify and finalize a killer line up of events, seminars and vendors, and while we’re still adding even more, you won’t believe what we already have lined up!

HAUNT TOURS

  • Thursday night we’ll visit the legendary Haunted Schoolhouse & Laboratory, Factory of Terror and the Legion of Terror’s own Bloodview Haunted House.
  • Friday during the day we’ll embark on a paranormal bus tour, visiting the Ohio State Reformatory and the Blissman Building in Mansfield, Ohio.
  • Friday night we’ll head out to visit the world famous Scarefactory, makers of some of the haunt industry’s biggest animatronic monstrosities, then to the ScareAtorium!

PARTIES

  • Thursday night after the haunt tour enjoy FREE SCARY-OKE at the Hyatt
  • Friday night after the haunt tour the Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group is going to throw a party (those who attended the 2013 Legendary Haunt Tour already know that these guys know how to have a good time!)
  • Saturday night sees the return of the Halloween Fantasy Body Art Fashion Show and the biggest, baddest costume party of the year, the Midwest Haunters Convention Masquerade Party!

NEW FOR 2014: FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN!

  • The Midwest Haunters Convention Kidz Zone! This year MHC will feature a Kidz Zone on the show floor featuring some amazingly fun activities for our junior haunters!
  • Kids Costume Contest On Saturday afternoon we will have a Kids Halloween Costume Contest! Entries will be judged on Craftsmanship, Creativity, and “Halloween Feel”. Any of our younger costumed Midwest Haunters Convention attendees (age 11 and under) may enter this contest, limited to the first 20 contestants.
  • NETHERWORLD Kids Haunted House! Kids are welcome to explore the fun inflatable Haunted House brought to you by NETHERWORLD Haunted House! Free to all of our younger Midwest Haunters Convention attendees!
  • Zombie Shoot! by Punishers Paintball Are your little ones afraid of zombies? Well here is a chance for them to practice battling and defeating the walking dead in our kid friendly Zombie Shooting Gallery!
  • FACE PAINTING Provided by Zombie Army Productions

MORE NEW EVENTS FOR 2014

  • The Midwest Haunter MYSTERY BOX Build Challenge! The ultimate test of haunter creativity…what amazingly terrifying prop can you build in one hour with the contents of a “Mystery Box”? You can be sure there will be many twists and turns in this extreme test of your Halloween skills! Entries will be judged on Craftsmanship, Creativity, and  “Halloween Feel.”
  • The Midwest Haunters Prop Display Contest! Contestants will be able to display a prop that they have created.  These items will be on display at the show Saturday & Sunday and judged by show attendees.
  • The Midwest Haunters Hall Costume Contest! Photos will be taken of the coolest costumes and makeup being worn on the vendor show floor and then judged by show attendees.
