CHARACTER PHOTO EXHIBIT
MHC is excited to exhibit HAUNT ACTOR PHOTOS on their very own “SHOW & TELL” Wall of Fame display area for all convention attendees to see and admire. We want to SHOWCASE the TALENT of our Industry and what better way than to submit your character’s photo for everyone to see and best of ALL, this is completely FREE to participate in this event!
- Bring in a matted or framed picture of yourself to display
- NO CHARGE to submit
- Total size must be NO larger than a 12″ x 14″
- Please drop off submissions anytime Saturday or Sunday
- Photos may be picked up after 2:00 pm on Sunday
- Framed photos must have a hanging support wire on the backside.
RONALD McDONALD HOUSE HAUNT T-SHIRT DRIVE
Exhibit your HAUNT SHIRT at MHC for EVERYONE to see & then it will go on to give a real HALLOWEEN TREAT to a child this October!
We are having a HAUNT T-SHIRT DRIVE and will be collecting CLEAN/NEW Haunt T-Shirts to donate to the RONALD MCDONALD HOUSES. Shirts will be given to the KIDS and FAMILIES that are staying at Ronald McDonald Houses during OCTOBER as a gift from our Industry. Shirts will be accepted anytime during the event. Thank you in advance for your Haunts Support for this FIRST of its KIND Haunt Industry Project to support the Ronald McDonald Houses! You are welcomed to bring as many shirts as you like; we should be able to display one of each shirt style based upon space availability. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio are providing us with in-kind and monetary donation forms for those interested.
Please note: As these shirts will be given to children, please make sure the subject matter of the shirt is PG-13 or friendlier!
You think you have a GREAT SCREAM? PROVE IT!
We are giving everyone the chance to step inside our SCREAM BOOTH and give us their BEST & LOUDEST SCREAM. A decibel meter will record your levels and winners names will be posted on our LEADER BOARD with prizes being awarded daily! Great STRESS reliever too!
FREE to all attendees and vendors, ALL ages welcome; not responsible for loss of voice or hoarse throats, etc. LOL! LIMIT of two (2) tries per day.
BACKDROP SCENE PAINTING COMPETITION
Saturday June 11 – 10:00am – 3:00pm
Calling all ARTIST HAUNTERS! Want to do something FUN on Saturday? Why not spend some serious time showcasing your talents painting a BACKDROP on the trade show floor that will be judged and awards given, and the best part is you get to KEEP your CREATION. Limited to the first 5 teams that sign up. Email Crazy Bob and Beth Turner at: [email protected] if you are interested in competing and the Rules and Guidelines will be sent to you. SPACE is LIMITED, so don’t DELAY!
The theme is: A “Haunted Selfie” Backdrop
Cost to participate is $35.00 per team and team size is restricted to no more than 3 artists. A Canvas Backdrop will be provided as well as 5 colors of latex paint (black, white, red, yellow & blue) as well as paint trays and water. Artists will have 5 hours to complete their backdrop, which will remain on exhibit until Sunday. You may pick up your backdrop after 2:00 pm Sunday.
Once your team has been confirmed by Crazy Bob, you may pay the $35 entry fee using THIS CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION FORM, which can be printed out & mailed (the address is on the form), emailed as an attachment to [email protected] or faxed to (847) 453-9472.
HAUNTER’S SLIDER EXHIBITION EXTRAVAGANZA
Both Saturday and Sunday!
MHC is providing a SLIDER TRACK on the trade show floor and will be having a FIRST of its KIND HAUNTER’S SLIDE-OFF Competition. If you are a HAUNT SLIDER bring your GEAR, dress the part and be prepared to STRUT YOUR STUFF in front of a CROWD.
Must be 18+ & sign an Insurance Waiver prior to participating;, advance sign up is suggested but not required. Email Crazy Bob & Beth Turner @ [email protected] if you are interested in participating and we will send you a form to fill out and return to us or bring with you to MHC.
- FREE to all who participate – limited number of slots per session.
- All Sliders will receive a certificate of participation and People’s Choice recognition ribbons will also be awarded.
- Sliders can participate in as many sessions as they want, provided time slots are available.
- 3 Scheduled time slot sessions are as follows:
- Saturday: 10:30 – 11:00am
- Saturday: 1:30pm – 2:00pm
- Sunday: 2:30pm – 3:00pm

Time to WORK THOSE BUNS and get the ZOMBIE BLOOD a PUMPIN’ and exercise your poor HAUNTED HINEYS from all the HARD WORK of spending that hard-earned DOUGH on the Show Floor. Time to LOOSEN the LIMBS and SHAKE that BOOTY and RELAX that POCKETBOOK so you can BUY EVEN MORE after your WORKOUT! Join “ROTTING RICHARD SIMMONS” and the GORE-TASTIC “ANNA CONDA” and their BEAUTIFUL but BLOODY “GOREGOUS GIRLS” and GUYS PEP SQUAD watch and participate as they SWEAT it OUT to their SMOLDERING new hits. Bring your CAMERA’S and expect the UNEXPECTED and NEVER come ALONE (Insert CRAZY BOB evil Laugh here!).
