This will be the 7th year for our haunted house bus tour. We had four buses last year; these tours keep getting bigger as we encounter awesome frights and impressive shows. Our haunts try to show us their full operation as we would experience in October. We’ve toured some very impressive haunts over the years, but this year we’re touring more top rated haunts on this two day tour than we’ve ever done before. Wait till you see the lineup below; this will be our best tour yet.
Prices start at $269 per person. The first two buses are sold and there are less than 100 tickets remaining.

Buses will start departing at 9:30 am Wednesday from the Hyatt Regency Columbus (buses depart every 10 mins) and return Thursday evening, around midnight. Sign in starting at 8:30 am in the Franklin Room Foyer on the second floor where you’ll board the buses. This is on the North side of the Hyatt.
For those of you going on the bus tour and returning to stay through the weekend at the Hyatt; you’re eligible for an $81 (plus tax) room rate on Tuesday night and they won’t charge you for your room on Wednesday night. You can leave your luggage in your room while on the bus trip and return to your room on Thursday night (provided they don’t need your room). Wow, how cool is that?

* We have a bonus stop planned at Gerard Industries in Kalamazoo. They make and sell masks, props and costumes. We’ll have a behind the scenes tour of their facility. Tony and crew have a few surprises for us too!
The cost of the bus tour varies by the number of people staying in a hotel room on Wednesday night at the Waterford Estates Lodge. We take the cost of the hotel room and divide it by the number of people staying in the room and that is the total amount per person for the tour. When you sign up for the tour; if signing up for more than one person in the room, you will need to pay for the number of people in your group on one credit card.

Ticket prices for the bus tour are as follows:
$269 per person based on four people sharing a room
$279 per person based on three people sharing a room
$289 per person based on two people sharing a room
$329 for one person in a single room
When signing up, you’ll select if you prefer a King bed or two double beds.

The Twisted Darkness is a last minute addition to the tour to replace a haunt who lost their lease. We visited them two years ago and it was voted one of our top haunts. They’ve made some changes and promise to show us a fantasic time. More details coming soon.

Niles Haunted HouseScreamPark

The NilesHauntedHouseScreamPark is 44 acres of haunting fun! For the Midwest Haunters Tour, we will be revealing the 2013 Niles Haunted House, redone this year in a Hobbit theme–plenty of adventure, trolls and other malicious creatures to keep you on your toes. Two other haunted houses also are open–Zombie Outbreak, where you will try to escape being infected with a deadly virus, and Voodoo Bayou (final name not yet determined), where you will come in contact with the deep, dark magic of the old ways.
The outdoor attraction, Field of Screams, will also be available. Multiple mazes and themed areas will have you wondering if you’re coming or going.

Phobia House
Kalamazoo, Michigan
Phobia House is a 3-D haunt, a traditional haunt, and a phobia infested nightmare. It is a tour guided haunted attraction where you encounter your real nightmares (300 plus phobias) as you wander our dark halls. We also have a background theme which changes every year. This causes us to do a teardown and rebuild every year. This year we are doing a 90% tear down. Most of the rebuild will be done on time for your visit. Phobia House is an indoor haunted house attraction and is consistently rated one of the SCARIEST haunted house attractions in Michigan… for EIGHT consecutive years! We opened our Phobia House gates for the first time in 2001, however, I have worked with and have been supplying to haunted attractions since 1974.
Tony and crew are working on a special exhibit; unlike any haunted attraction on the tour. Shhhh! It’s a secret surprise, but one you’re sure to remember, FOREVER!!!
